Nose Job

Nose job (Rhinoplasty)

We don’t know the history of nose job but we guess the first nose surgeon, was the woodpecker which on the order of the Blue Fairy shortened Pinocchio’s nose. Despite not having lied, many of us need a nose surgery also named rhinoplasty, for a better appearance and/or even easier breathing.

Nose job (rhinoplasty) is a common procedure for improving the shape, size and structure of the nose. During this surgery, the surgeon works on the length, width and form of the nose in a way that adds to the beauty of your face and also makes your breathing easier, if there is any problem.

Nose job FAQ

How much does a nose surgery hurt?

Although it seems hurtful when you’re watching a video of a nose surgery being performed, in reality, it’s much less. With all the anesthetics and medicines you don’t have to worry about the pain during a nose job procedure anymore because you’re either under general anesthesia or local anesthesia and it’s worth to mention that the latter is rarely used. You’ll be experiencing a little pain after the surgery, which is natural, and if you avoid certain activities like working out, running or even sneezing you’ll have nothing to be worried about.

Do different techniques (open and closed surgery) affect the rhinoplasty cost ?

No they do not. The chosen technique, be it open or closed, does not affect the rhinoplasty cost. When you visit your doctor and tell them what you want they would examine you and based on your condition and your expectations and, more importantly, the structure of your nose, they would choose one of the two techniques that gives you the best result.
